The Department of Trade and Industry’s Halal Development and Trade Office recently welcomed Ms. Fareeha Khan, Trade and Investment Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan, for a briefing on the strategic direction of the Philippine Halal Industry Development for 2023-2028.
The briefing was held under the directive of Ambassador Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Kazi.
Ms. Khan has been invited to attend the 1st Philippine Halal Expo and the 7th Philippine National Halal Conference, set to take place from November 14-16, 2024.
These events will highlight the Philippines’ efforts to become a leading halal-friendly destination and promote its growing halal industry.
