Quezon City, Philippines – The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) has launched the “NCMF Halal Primer,” a resource aimed at promoting awareness of Halal standards and practices across the country. This primer offers a comprehensive guide on Halal certification, covering sectors such as food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
The NCMF Halal Primer is designed to educate businesses and individuals about Halal compliance and its role in boosting consumer trust. It is expected to help local producers tap into the growing global Halal market by ensuring they meet international standards.
In support of the primer, the NCMF plans to host workshops and training sessions to further educate stakeholders about Halal certification. These initiatives aim to enhance the capacity of local businesses to meet the demands of both domestic and international markets.
The primer will be available for download on the NCMF website and will be distributed to key stakeholders across the country, encouraging wider understanding and engagement in the Halal industry.
