PH participates in Halal-focused International Islamic Trade Tourism Expo 2024

The Philippines has participated at the International Islamic Trade and Tourism Expo 2024, held in Malacca, Malaysia.

The event, organized by GISB Holdings, highlighted the global expansion of the halal industry, drawing participants from across the world.

The expo, which featured a wide range of halal products and services, was a key platform for businesses, industry professionals, and consumers to connect and explore the latest trends and innovations in the halal market.

GISB Holdings’ Executive Chairman, Tn. Hj. Nasiruddin Mohd Ali, emphasized the organization’s commitment to promoting Islamic principles in various sectors.

Leading the Philippine delegation was National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) Secretary Sahabudin Abdurahim, accompanied by BMEA Director Rahmatol Mamukid, Chief Almojin Pandapatan, and representatives from Iligan City, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Event attendees engaged in hands-on demonstrations and direct discussions with product developers.
