Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano extended her heartfelt appreciation to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Halal Development Trade Office for selecting Taguig as the venue for a significant Domestic Halal summit.
“Thank you, DTI – Halal Development Trade Office, sa pagpili sa mahal naming Lungsod Taguig bilang venue ng mahalagang programa na ito! Full support syempre ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Taguig sa inisyatibong mapayabong ang Halal Industry sa bansa,” Cayetano said.
Mayor Cayetano highlighted Taguig’s potential as a strategic location for programs supporting Halal MSMEs, emphasizing the city government’s ongoing collaboration with national government offices, the private sector, and the diplomatic community.
She also expressed gratitude to the Department of Tourism and other partner agencies, along with Senator Mark Villar, for their unwavering support for the Halal industry.
