The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) Halal Module has been officially included in the Knowledge Resource Center of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), one of Asia’s top business schools. This development was facilitated by the NCMF-NCR Regional Office under the leadership of Regional Director Dimapuno A. Datu-Ramos, Jr.
NCMF-NCR Team, together with Executive Director Tahir S. Lidasan, Jr., CESO II, DTI-PTTC Deputy Executive Director Dimnatang Radia, CESO V, and NCMF-BMEA Halal Focal Person Rahima Solaiman, met with AIM administrators. They donated copies of the Halal Module and discussed plans to develop an executive short course on the halal industry.
The collaboration aims to promote awareness and understanding of the Philippine halal industry among AIM students and faculty, positioning it as a critical component of global business and development education. AIM graduates are often seen as future leaders in these fields, making the inclusion of the Halal Module a significant step towards integrating halal principles into mainstream business curricula.
This initiative is expected to broaden the reach and recognition of the Philippine halal industry, aligning with the NCMF’s mission to support its growth and integration into global markets.
