Iligan City Halal Council Holds Productive Meeting to Advance Halal Industry Development

The Iligan City Halal Council recently held a successful meeting, uniting key stakeholders from various agencies to discuss strategies for advancing the halal industry in the region.

City Councilor Atty. CPA Betsy Zalsos, along with representatives from the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Tourism (DOT), TESDA, IHORRECA, City Agriculture, OMaHCC, and other local agencies, gathered to share insights and develop plans for growing the halal sector in Iligan City and beyond.

The meeting was led by Mayor Frederick W. Siao, Chairperson of the Halal Council, whose unwavering support and leadership are instrumental in the ongoing development of the halal industry in the city.
