DTI 11 Showcases Davao Region’s Halal Products at BIMP-EAGA Friendship Games

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) 11 continues to support the Philippines’ regional ties through trade and sports, with a focus on promoting Davao Region’s Halal-certified products.

At the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Friendship Games 2024, held at the Ramon V. Mitra Sports Complex in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, DTI 11 is spotlighting a diverse range of Halal goods from local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

As part of the Sports Expo and Cultural Fair, DTI 11 is showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit of Davao Region, with five MSMEs offering food products and four others presenting non-food items.

The event, which runs until December 4, aims to strengthen regional camaraderie while promoting trade and economic growth.

Visitors to the Davao Region booth can explore a variety of Halal-certified products, underscoring the region’s commitment to fostering economic ties and cultural exchange through the BIMP-EAGA platform.
