The Ministry of Science and Technology-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MOST-BARMM), in collaboration with Kakaw Meranaw, hosted a three-day seminar and workshop in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, focusing on Technology Training, Food Safety, Good Management Practices, and Halal Awareness.
The event also featured discussions on packaging and labeling under the Women Empowerment Through Science and Technology program.
Senior Tol Abdulrauf D. Balt and Batch Sarig from the MSU-PAA Jrs. attended the seminar, which aimed to raise awareness and improve practices in the Halal food industry.
The program highlighted the importance of adhering to Halal standards and promoting sustainable practices in food production.
The MSU-PAA Jrs. expressed their honor in being invited to participate in such a significant event, furthering their knowledge and commitment to the development of Halal industries and food safety in the region.
