Officials from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), led by Bangsamoro Board of Investments (BBOI) Chairperson Mohamad Omar Pasigan and Board of Governor Datu Habib Ambolodto, are actively promoting the region’s investment potential at the Saudi International Halal Expo.
In partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Halal Industry Development Office, the BARMM delegation aims to boost the Philippines’ profile in the global Halal market and highlight BARMM’s strategic appeal for sustainable investments.
This delegation, working closely with DTI Halal Project Manager Aleem Siddiqui Guiapal and national government officials, reflects BARMM’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and strengthening Halal trade.
Their presence at the expo underscores the region’s ambition to become a central hub for Halal-certified products and services, paving the way for economic growth and sustainable investments.
The expo highlights a unified approach by BARMM and the Philippine government to elevate Halal trade, empower local businesses, and position the region on the world stage.
