The Bangsamoro Halal Industry Development Plan 2024-2028 Consultation for the Mainland Provinces, Cotabato City, and the Special Geographic Area (SGA) commenced on Monday at Al Nor Hotel.
The consultation seeks to shape a strategic framework aimed at developing a thriving halal industry within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The event is designed with two main objectives: increasing public awareness and gathering participant input. Attendees, including local stakeholders, industry leaders, and government representatives, will gain insights into the BARMM government’s systematic efforts to advance the halal industry through a structured development plan.
The initiative is crafted to align with the cultural values, economic aspirations, and unique needs of the Bangsamoro region.
A central goal of the consultation is to actively engage participants, inviting them to share feedback on the draft plan. This collaborative approach will allow stakeholders to voice concerns and highlight regional challenges and opportunities, ensuring that the final development plan is both comprehensive and reflective of the region’s aspirations.
The Bangsamoro Halal Industry Development Plan aims to create a robust, inclusive halal framework that will drive sustainable economic growth, positioning BARMM as a key player in the halal industry in the years to come.
